Britain's Got Talent -

Whitchurch Got Talent

The Whitchurch Dog Display Team was asked to audition for the 2008 series of Britain's Got Talent. The team were up for the challenge and sent in a DVD of their skills.

They got through to the Birmingham stage of auditions, held at the Hippodrome.

This was a great experience for the team members and all had a great, if not nervous day. They got to meet Ant & Dec back stage who seemed taken with the dogs (some of the dogs have not washed since they got a pat on the head from the boys!!) The Whitchurch Dog Display Team impressed the judges (well Amanda & Simon!) and got through to the London stage of auditions.

The new team bus?!

In order for us to get to the auditions on time we had an early start and a trip on a coach - dogs and all! The coach took us to London.

After another long day of waiting (in the Cafe Royal - Regent Street - not the worst place to have to wait) .......

Are we through - I can't look

they announced that we had not got any further in the competition.

We left the Cafe Royal and took all the dogs to meet the coach. It was a sight to see 12 dogs walking down Regent Street on a Saturday afternoon, there were a few funny looks!

We all had fun and it was a great experience for owners and dogs alike...
