Our Approach

We believe that our experience and lifetime working and living with dogs makes us the right trainers to help start your dog off on the right paw.  We have a proven reward-based approach to training and foster a friendly, positive learning atmosphere in a safe indoor/outdoor environment or in your own home.

Our aim is to help ensure you can enjoy a rewarding and happy relationship with your canine companion, giving them the right life skills for you to feel they are a joy to live with.

Many people come to us on recommendation from a friend, family member, veterinary centre or rescue centre.  Many have been training with us for decades.

We keep our companion dog obedience classes stimulating, fresh and as active as possible to provide an enjoyable training session for you and your dog.  Many of our training classes incorporate working towards The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme, the UK's largest dog training programme.

As your dog grows, good obedience classes are still an important part of training and help you keep kind control and command of your dog and that all important positive socialisation in an engaging and respectful way.  Accompanying all levels of training is The kennel Club's Responsibility & Care information. The right training helps keep your dog happy, healthy and builds their bond with you.

LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUAL TRAINING - TRY OUR 'PERSONAL K9 TRAINER PROGRAMME' FOR YOU AND YOUR DOG? if you would like to experience personally tailored training on a regular basis individually, we are very happy to arrange this with you.  It can be a convenient, rewarding way to progress and we can fit around your other commitments.  A 1 hour lesson on a weekly/fortnightly basis for a short period time is a great introduction and can bring real results.

We also offer other more specialist classes, workshops, 121s and our very popular Whitchurch Dog Display Team to help you branch out with your training activities and interests.

Classes typically cost £36 for 6 weeks.

Classes are available in Bronington (4 miles from Whitchurch), Whitchurch (central to all bordering counties), Ellesmere (Nr. Oswestry/Wrexham) and Baschurch (Nr. Shrewsbury)
